Om KoF

The goal of KoF24 is to strengthen Uppsala University’s ability to conduct research of the highest quality and relevance.

Moving the frontline of research forward also enhances the potential to make a difference in society through external engagement and collaboration. Insight into our own strengths and weaknesses is a tool for promoting quality. KoF24 is intended to deliver knowledge about these strengths and weaknesses, and about the opportunities and challenges facing the University, so as to be able to act with reference to them.

Evaluations of research and research environments at the Faculty of Science and Technology

The evaluation include the following aspects:

• Development and renewal of research and research environment
• Engagement and collaboration with society
• Recruitment, career opportunities and career support
• Connection between research and education

The faculty goals are to:

• Maintain and strengthen our research by doing self-evaluations, receive panel input and developing plans
• Strengthen our collegial culture through discussions at all levels and involving all research staff
• Improve our internal understanding by seeing and discussing how we are organized and work
• Improve our resource usage by bottom-up plans
